In order to speed up the orderly and healthy development of poultry and aquatic products in Chenzhou, improve the fowl epidemic prevention coefficient, ensure the poultry market centralized slaughtering and food safety, and promote the transformation and upgrading of the poultry wholesale market in Chenzhou, Chenzhou Municipal Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Products Bureau introduced an investor from Dongguan to build a poultry slaughter and aquatic product trading park in Chenzhou.

The construction site of the project was initially selected in the market cluster of Huaiwan Road in Chenzhou City and will be determined according to the overall plan of Chenzhou City finally. At present, the preparatory work of the project is progressing smoothly.

The project is planned for 130 mu of land and divided into two phases with the frame or steel structure, a total investment of 150 million yuan. The first phase will build 2000 square meters of office space, 380 thousand square meters of the supporting facilities, such as the trading center and production workshop, and "Chen Jiang" brand fresh agricultural chain stores with the investment of 65 million yuan; the second phase will build the poultry products processing enterprises and agricultural products e-commerce operations headquarters with the investment of 85 million yuan.

After the project put into production, the annual turnover will hit 800 million yuan, the number of slaughtered poultry will reach 10 feathers, and the trade in aquatic products will reach 10 million jin; the deep processed poultry production will reach 200 million yuan, the trading volume of "Chen Jiang" brand fresh agricultural products and e-commerce platform will reach 300 million yuan. More than 800 people will be placed directly in employment after the completion of the project.
