Different features are displayed on 12 sub-parks
Currently, reporters visited Shizhuyuan CMGS Park which is a key part of the 5th CMGS. Now it is being promoted to the final stage and the exhibits are being delivered to the park.
The park is located in Shizhuyuan National Mine Park, covering 500mu lands, 80mu of which is the core area. Three zones are divided in the park: entrance zone which is mainly on displaying the landscape stone, Mount Tai stone, and cultural wall; counties and districts zone is mainly for displaying the characteristic stones and crystal minerals from the counties and districts of Chenzhou City; and Chenzhou Decoration Mineral Gem Association zone is focusing on displaying the landscape stones of Chenzhou and other cities of China.
When reporters arrived at Guiyang Park, workers were building a cooper coin square which is similar to the size of the coin sculpture of Baoshan Mine Park. It was introduced by Xu Haidong who is the Deputy Director of Guiyang Decoration Stone Association that the central area and routes of Guiyang Park are shaped by copper coin. It was purposely to show over 1000 years mineral history of Guiyang County.
Other counties also followed their local cultures to build their parks. Taking Anren County for example, farm cattle was shaped by stones to display its farming culture; and Jiahe County shaped the Jiulaofeng Mountain by its local stones as well. In Chenzhou Decoration Mineral Gem Association zone, besides Chenzhou local famous stones, some other rarestones as Mount Tai stone from Shandong Province, Lingbi stone from Anhui Province, fluorite from Guangdong Province, rainbowstone from Henan Province, and etc. were gathered there, which enables visitors to enjoy a scientific, cultural, and leisure trip there.
As introduced by Yang Fan who is the engineer of Chenzhou Urban Planning and Design Institute that each park of counties and districts covers about 1300-1500square meters. Currently, most of the exhibits have been placed there. The greening work was being proceeded well and was estimated to be finished before April 27, 2017. The park can be opened to public before May 18, 2017.
