Rare Stones from Rucheng County to be Exhibited on 5th CMGS

Currently, the preparation work of 5th CMGS was being carried out hotly in Chenzhou City. It was learned from some departments of Rucheng County, some rare stones as Leishan stone (known as chrismatite), rainbowstone, bluestone, and etc. would be displayed on the show.

 

The 5th CMGS will be opened in Chenzhou City from May 18 to 24, 2017. Compared with last show, richer contents and forms will be shown there.

 

“Rarestone Park” which is located in Shizhuyuan National Mine Park is a new content of this show. Some rarestone, jades, and characteristic natural mineral resources from 11 counties and districts of Chenzhou City will be displayed there.

Rucheng Leishan stone (known as chrismatite) which is originated from Jilong, Rucheng County is 6.5m long, 2.8m wide, and 1.3m thick. A very famous Chinese poet was curved on this 67tons stone.

As you can see from above image, this Rucheng Leishan stone (known as chrismatite) was from Reshui Town, Rucheng County. It is 7.3meter high, 2.8m wide and 1.2m thick. Four Chinese characters were curved there.

It was learned that more than 10 rarestones including Leishan stone (known as chrismatite), rainbowstone, bluestone, and etc. would be displayed on the park, accounting for 300tons in total. The stone weighed 67tons, 6.5meter long, 2.8m wide and 1.3meter thick was estimated to the biggest one shown there.

 

Rucheng County focused on three themes as “red, Neo-Confucianism, green” to handle the design work, which enables all visitors to enjoy the natural resources, Neo-Confucianism, and red culture of Rucheng County.

As you can see from above image, Nanling- Secretary of Rucheng County Party Committee was investigating the preparation work of the show

 

It was learned from some principals of Rucheng County, the county paid great attention on the preparation work of this show. They sincerely hoped Rucheng County can be better popularized via displaying the mineral and cultural resources of the county on the show.
