On May 21, the 7th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Expo, which lasted five days, successfully closed in Chenzhou City. The number of visitors to the Expo reached 301,000, with a total transaction value of 1.79 billion yuan.

The 7th CMGE attracted more than 1100 enterprises from more than 50 countries and regions. More than 100 purchasing companies and 1000 collectors look for treasure in Chenzhou and a group of international politicians, envoys to China and heads of international professional associations attended the event. On May 17, the Chenzhou Municipal Government signed 23 major projects with Newopen Chongqing Yuzhou Education Industry Group and CSMall Group on the spot, with the investment of 21.8 billion yuan, involving mineral gems, machinery manufacturing, new materials, new energy and other fields.

In order to run the 7th CMGE well, Chenzhou City has done a good job in transportation, fire protection, security and other related work. Under the unified overall arrangement of Chenzhou Volunteer Service Federation, 330 volunteers from colleges and various volunteer associations were active in 32 kinds of volunteer service posts, such as translation, security inspection, tour exhibition and consultation, providing volunteer service to exhibitors, buyers and citizens from all over the world. Over the past five days, volunteers have dressed uniformly, performed their duties and cooperated with each other with good appearance and spiritual outlook, and displayed the image of civilized Chenzhou to the whole world with professionalism, enthusiasm, smiles and patience.
