As you can see from above image, some vendors of “Linglong tea” were selling the fresh tea leaves on March 17, 2015- the opening marketing day of Linglong tea of Qiaotou town, Guidong county. According to the statistics, the total transaction of the fresh leaves hit 10,000kgs on that day. Different species and quality levels cost different prices from 60-180yuan.kg, so the total trading volume of that day was about one million yuan.

Due to the abundant rain and warm temperature, the opening marketing day was about half month earlier than last years. It was introduced that the fresh leaves marketing of Linglong tea of Qiaotou town would last from Qingming festival (back or forth) to September every year.
