It was learned from Chenzhou Statistics Bureau that generally speaking, Chenzhou city’s economy was kept stable performance in this January: Export-oriented economy was operated well, finance, insurance and tourism industry were improved rapidly and the growth rate of price was kept stably.

In this January, export-oriented economy was operated well. The total volume of foreign trade hit $190million with an increase of 26.4%. One new foreign investment contracted project was settled with an actual use of foreign capitals of $50million, up 104%; 243 new domestic investment contracted projects were settled with paid-in domestic capitals of 3.4billion yuan, up 17.7%. The total tax payment was amounted to 1.08billion yuan with an increase of 7.8%; the nontax revenue hit 910million yuan with a decrease of 39.5%. The tax payment covered 54.2% of general public budget revenue, up 14.3%.

Finance and insurance industry were improved stably. The loan balance for RMB and foreign currencies was 79.82billion yuan which was 1.78billion yuan more than the beginning of 2015 and 550million yuan more than last year. 52.09billion yuan of them was for medium and long term loan, which was1.61billion yuan and 300million yuan more than the beginning of 2015 and last year respectively. In this January, the premium income of insurance industry was amounted to 1.08billion yuan with an increase of 76.9%; the expenditure on claims was amounted to 80million yuan, up 60.8%.

The growth rate of price was kept stably. CPI was up 2.9%. The growth rates for the price of eight categories of consumer products as food, tobacco and wine, clothes, household equipment, health care product, transportation and communication, entertainment and resident were 3.8%, 0.9%, 7.1%, 4.4%, 6.7%, -1.9%, 0.9% and 0.6% respectively.

At the meantime, tourism industry was improved rapidly. 2.835million visitors were received by Chenzhou city with an increase of 19.7%. The tourism revenue hit 2.13billion yuan with an increase of 25.9%.
