It was learned from Chenzhou Intellectual Property Office that the list of 2014 Hunan Provincial Patent Awards was released recently. "The engineering of extracting valuable metals from multiple metals with more Bismuth elements" which was developed by Hunan Jinwang Bismuth Industry Co., Ltd., and "LED epitaxial wafer and its growth method of gallium nitride base III-V compound" which was generated by Xiangneng Hualei Photoelectricity Co., Ltd. were awarded with the second and third prize respectively.

"The engineering of extracting valuable metals from multiple metals with more Bismuth elements" was with some features as high recycling rate of metals, high rate of slag, environmental friendly, safe, energy saving, and etc. To operate this engineering, it does not need to use high level devices, so it is helpful to decrease the operation and maintenance cost. From 2009, the company started to use this patent and abstract some valuable metals by this method. It also helped to upgrade the production capacity with high quality product.

"LED epitaxial wafer and its growth method of gallium nitride base III-V compound" helped to solve the problems as leakage, short life, poor antistatic capacity, and etc. This patent product has been placed to industrialization for over two years, which was one of the LED chips with highest marketing rate. Its total sales volume hit 267.81million yuan, while the tax payment hit 21.425million yuan and profit hit 53.563 million yuan.
