It was learned from Chenzhou Economic Development Zone that it paid 92.12million yuan tax payments in the first quarter, up 24%, ranking the second place among other industrial parks of Chenzhou city. 41.04million yuan of them was for the national taxation departments, up 27%, while the rest was for local taxation departments, up 21%. Concerned for the industries, 21.20million yuan was for manufacturing industry, up 45%; 23.77million yuan was for wholesail and retail industry, up 25%; 22.54million yuan was for real estate and construction industry, up 20%; and 24.61million yuan was for service industry, up 11%. 43 enterprises paid over 0.5million yuan tax payments, and 19 ones paid over one million yuan which was 4 more than last year. In the meantime, the increase of electricity consumption of the scaled enterprises was 2% lower than the increase of industrial added value and the energy consumption for 10,000-yuan-added value of scaled industries was 4% lower, which indicated that the upgrading and transformation of enterprises of the industrial park became better.

It was introduced that the technology and trade revenue of the zone was amounted to 14.3billion yuan in the first quarter, up 5%; industrial output value was 4.54billion yuan, up 7%; and investment attraction was 1.2billion yuan, up 24%. The total output value of secondary and tertiary industry was amounted to 3.86billion yuan, 41% and 59% of each. All indicated that economic condition of the zone became better.
