It was learned from Rucheng Development & Reform Bureau that the road network project of Jiyi town was enrolled into special projects of 2016 inter-provincial town development and was favored with 4million yuan funds.

The total investment for the 3-year project is 156million yuan, which mainly places on 8 roads about 18.3kms, 16,020meters pipe network, and accessories. It planned to finish 35million yuan in this year, including the 4million yuan obtained from Hunan Government, mainly on the 8 roads.

Jiyi town is located in the eastern part of Rucheng county where is in the inter-provincial area of Hunan province and Jiangxi province. It is the eastern gate of Rucheng county. It is adjacent to Fengzhou town and Wenying town of Chongyi county,

Jiangxi province in the east, and Reshui town in the south. Due to its significant orientation as the important inter-provincial town, it is with great location advantages. Furthermore, Xiarong expressway and G357 are available for it, both of which are the first channel for the connection between Jiangxi and Hunan province. It is also an important transportation hub for the connection among Hunan, Guangdong, and Jiangxi province.

In recent years, in order to accelerate the construction of “hot spring landscape” and shape the development pattern of “one core, two wings”, Jiyi town focused on Rucheng county’s strategic deployment and tried great efforts to seize the chance of development. Along with its improvement of county construction, its economic power was greatly upgraded and town functions were improved gradually as well.
