On the afternoon of December 23, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, Kan Baoyong, made a special investigation on domestic waste classification in the urban area of the city.

Kan Baoyong went to Dongfeng Road No.9 Community, Municipal Association for Science and Technology, Wulingge kitchen waste collection and transfer station, No.1 waste station on North Suxian Road, and incineration power plant. He carefully inspected the hardware facilities of garbage classification, listened to the introduction of garbage classification work, inquired about the daily garbage classification and disposal situation of residents, and detailed understanding of the full coverage of public institutions for domestic waste classification, the construction of demonstration streets, classification facilities, etc.

Kan Baoyong stressed that we should thoroughly implement the spirit of a series of important instructions on garbage sorting work, and promote solid and orderly classification of domestic waste according to the requirements of the state and province; should adhere to the problem-based, goal-oriented and result oriented, accelerate the preparation of planning, and establish a system of urban domestic waste classification; should strengthen the construction of domestic waste end treatment system facilities, further improve the end treatment capacity, force the front-end waste classification, and realize the goal of waste treatment reduction, harmless and resource; should increase publicity, create a strong atmosphere of domestic waste classification. All departments at all levels should play a leading role in promoting the formation of a new civilized fashion of domestic waste classification in the whole society.
