In recent years, Chenzhou Branch of Postal Savings Bank has made great efforts in accordance with the three-year plan for the construction of green bank. After three years of efforts of the whole branch, the goal of the three-year plan for the construction of green bank has been fully achieved.

As of December, the green credit balance of the branch was 1.152 billion yuan, accounting for 55 percent of the existing loans. The number of mobile banking customers reached 1.1526 million, and the replacement rate of e-banking transactions reached 94.90 percent. The proportion of online credit card issuance and the annual growth rate of the three-year planning goals were exceeded.

In 2018, the branch established the Chenzhou Branch Green Bank construction leading group with the president as the group leader, vice president as the Deputy group leader, department general manager and county branch president as the members to guide the whole branch green bank construction, set up a green credit team with cross line and cross department, equipped with green bank construction management posts, formulated the "guidance of Chenzhou Branch of Postal Savings Bank of China on pollution prevention and development of green finance" and "task breakdown table of Chenzhou Branch's three-year plan for green bank construction" and refined various indicators, promoting year by year and striving to complete. 

In the past three years, the branch has held a series of publicity and training on the construction of green banks. Municipal Branch executives held many times of green finance, green bank construction and other knowledge propaganda and training. The Central Committee of the branch Party committee (enlarged) has organized many times to study the spirit on the 19th Party committees and to learn a series of important discussions by Comrade Xi Jinping on the construction of socialist ecological civilization. At the same time, 2-3 times of green bank construction trainings are organized every year to improve the green bank construction professional level of relevant personnel. The concept of "Lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." has been deeply rooted in the hearts of the whole bank.

Due to its unique geographical advantages, Chenzhou is rich in wind resources. To this end, the branch has regarded wind power loan as the main product of green finance, and successively granted project loans of 1.2 billion yuan to six wind power projects of Huadian Group and Guodian Power Group in Chenzhou by means of active service and optimized approval. With the support of the Postal Savings Bank, the six wind power projects have realized the interconnection power generation, with a total installed capacity of 300000 kw and an annual power generation capacity of more than 600 million kwh. Compared with the same coal-fired power plants, the annual coal saving is 2.1 million tons, the smoke emission is reduced by 35000 tons, the greenhouse gas CO2 emission is reduced by 7.4 million tons, the SO2 emission is reduced by 30000 tons, the NOx emission is reduced by 30000 tons, and the corresponding wastewater emission is reduced. In addition, it reduces the environmental and ecological impacts caused by the use of a large number of fresh water resources and the transportation and disposal of noise, fuel and waste residue.

Linwu Huola Environmental Protection Facilities Operation Co., Ltd. has undertaken the collection and transfer of urban and rural domestic waste harmless treatment in Linwu County. After learning about the start-up of the project, the branch visited the site for many times to learn about the project situation. Through the new product waste treatment loan, it successfully granted credit and lent 17 million yuan, which ensured the capital demand of the project construction.
