On January 6, the reporter learned from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission that in the past 2020, the construction of characteristic industrial parks, as an important starting point for the year of promoting the high-quality development of the city's parks, has achieved new breakthroughs in construction and development. The city has successfully created three provincial characteristic industrial parks. At present, there are 4 provincial characteristic industrial parks in the city.

Last year, our city made great efforts to promote the development of characteristic industrial parks, promote the agglomeration and integration of similar industries, realize the sharing of factor resources and infrastructure, and provide an important guarantee for attracting high-quality projects to settle down, upgrading the level of industrial development of the plate and even the whole city, and promoting high-quality economic development. Among them, Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park, Hunan (Guiyang) Home Intelligent Manufacturing Characteristic Industrial Park and Hunan (Yongxing) Rare and Precious Metal Characteristic Industrial Park were successfully recognized as Hunan characteristic industrial parks, which further added new vitality to promote the high-quality development of the parks in our city.

Hunan (Shazhou) Red Culture and Tourism Characteristic Industrial Park was successfully approved on December 14, 2020 (Hunan Province characteristic industrial park), becoming the only "non industrial" provincial characteristic industrial park based on agriculture, focusing on red culture and tourism industry and supplemented by other related industries in our city. At present, the planning work is being orderly promoted.

Hunan (Guiyang) Home Intelligent Manufacturing Characteristic Industrial Park and Hunan (Yongxing) Rare and Precious Metal Characteristic Industrial Park were successfully identified as Hunan characteristic industrial parks on December 22, 2020. Hunan (Guiyang) Home Intelligent Manufacturing Characteristic Industrial Park focuses on the leading enterprises and benchmark enterprises in the home furnishing industry, closely focuses on the home furnishing industry chain supplement, chain strengthening and chain extension projects, innovates the promotion mode and attracts investment accurately. By the end of 2020, 50 enterprises have started operation, 10 enterprises have been completed and put into operation, and a large number of Chinese furniture brand alliance enterprises such as Guangzhou Kinetic and Window of the City have been successfully introduced.

Around the development goal of the whole industrial chain, Hunan (Yongxing) Rare and Precious Metals Characteristic Industrial Park has vigorously introduced key links and leading enterprises of the industrial chain, driven upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to enter the park, and speed up chain supplement, chain strengthening and chain extension. In 2020, a total of 36 equal projects of Jiazhijia, Huicheng new materials and Zhenghetong Changyuefei were introduced, with the project landing rate of 100 percent. The project funds introduced were 7.3 billion yuan, and the total funds in place were 2.875 billion yuan. Among them, 11 rare and precious metal intensive processing enterprises have been introduced, successfully undertaken the landing of "China silver products wholesale center", and actively built "four bases" of silver.

Chen Xiaoyong, head of the regional economic section of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, told reporters that in the next step, our city will, in accordance with the requirements of "centralized layout, industrial agglomeration, intensive land use, and ecological environmental protection", coordinate the industrial layout, improve the industrial chain, accelerate industrial agglomeration, enterprise agglomeration, and talent agglomeration, continuously improve the quality and efficiency of development, promote the transformation of regional industries and the transformation of kinetic energy, and strive to build the characteristic park into a characteristic industrial cluster with market competitiveness, industrial radiation and innovation vitality in the whole province, so as to make new contributions to the radiation driven regional economic development.
