On April 6, representatives from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of Chenzhou City held a forum. Kan Baoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, met with the representatives. Ouyang Feng, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, who were invited to participate in the meeting, gathered together to share their feelings and discuss development plans. Centering on Chenzhou's implementation of the strategy of "new concept leading and sustainable development", they spared no effort to build "one pole and six districts", actively connected with the construction of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, promoted the healthy development of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises in Chenzhou, and actively put forward suggestions, expressing the common aspiration of loving Chenzhou, building Chenzhou and prospering Chenzhou.

The meeting pointed out that people from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan in Chenzhou made important contributions in promoting Chenzhou's development, promoting Chenzhou, participating in poverty alleviation, epidemic prevention and control, public welfare and charity. Compatriots in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are the same as the Chinese and the Chinese people, who are closely related to each other. We should understand and firmly implement the principle of "one country, two systems", and always share the same breath, common destiny and heart to heart with the great motherland. Chenzhou development is standing at a new historical starting point, gathering the strength of the city to implement the strategy of "new concept leading and sustainable development", striving to build "one pole and six zones", focusing on the development of "nine dominant industrial chains" and "6 leading industrial clusters". It was hoped that Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises will actively connect with new targets and new strategic and new measures for Chenzhou's development, seize new opportunities, attract more compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan to invest in Chenzhou, promote the economic and social stability, mutual development of the three regions on both sides, and make greater contributions to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
