From April 14 to 16, Zhang Dafang, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Provincial Committee, led the investigation group to Chenzhou to carry out the activities of "optimizing and upgrading the voluntary tree planting action to help rural revitalization" and "deepening the economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and ASEAN under the framework of the regional comprehensive economic partnership agreement (RCEP)". Jiang Bo, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the CPPCC Municipal Committee, participated in the investigation.

The investigation group went to Guidong County and Zixing City respectively to visit the helping households, carried out tree planting activities and Party history learning and education, and reviewed the glorious course of the Party leading the people to make unremitting efforts. In Qingzhu Village, Tujiang Town, Guidong County, Zhang Dafang led some members of the investigation group to inspect the progress of the homestay project donated by Hong Kong and Macao members, and held the unveiling ceremony of the joint working office of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, overseas Chinese and members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Provincial CPPCC.

The investigation group also came to Delta Electronics (Chenzhou) Company in the Chenzhou High-tech Zone, GiantSun Power Electronics Company, Changhong Grand-pro Technology Company, Chenzhou Grain Machinery Company and other enterprises to learn more about the production and operation, import and export trade of the enterprises. They also held discussions and exchanges with relevant departments and enterprise representatives, listened to the report on the economic and trade cooperation between Chenzhou and RCEP member countries, especially with ASEAN, and discussed how to seize the opportunity of RCEP, promote the construction of Chenzhou Area of Hunan Pilot Free Trade Zone, deepen the economic and trade cooperation between Chenzhou and ASEAN, and listen to the opinions and suggestions on deepening the economic and trade cooperation between Hunan and ASEAN.

Zhang Dafang fully affirmed the remarkable achievements of our city's foreign trade development in recent years. He stressed that we should fully understand the strategic significance of RCEP and do a good job in related work; seize the new opportunities of RCEP, actively dock with the broad market of ASEAN, plan ahead and act ahead, and win the initiative for opening up and development; improve the government's ability of service guarantee and support, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises in the local area, and escort the enterprises to dock with ASEAN; the construction of Chenzhou Area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone should be closely combined with RCEP, integrate into the overall situation of double cycle development, and further promote the high-quality development of Chenzhou and even Hunan.
