On May 7, Chenzhou Rural Revitalization Bureau was officially established. Kan Baoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Municipal Political and Legal Committee, Xu Huaihao, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, and Chen Rongwei, Vice Mayor, jointly attended the ceremony.

Kan Baoyong pointed out that the establishment of the Municipal Rural Revitalization Bureau on the basis of the Municipal Poverty Alleviation Office is a concrete action to implement the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee, and a vivid practice to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation and effectively link up with rural revitalization. Since its establishment in 1986, the Municipal Poverty Alleviation Office, especially the eighteen Party Congress, has thoroughly implemented the important discussion of General Secretary Xi Jinping's targeted poverty alleviation, worked with all levels and departments and the people of the city to complete the goal of tackling poverty, and taken the lead in the construction and operation of the poverty alleviation monitoring and help platform. It has made important contributions to the high quality winning the battle against poverty, and laid a solid foundation for consolidating and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and comprehensively promoting rural revitalization.

Kan Baoyong stressed that the newly established Municipal Rural Revitalization Bureau should bear in mind its original mission, consciously establish the "Four Consciousnesses", strengthen the "Four Self-confidence", practice the "Two Maintenance", vigorously carry forward the spirit of poverty alleviation and the "Three Ox Spirit", and faithfully fulfill the new responsibilities and missions entrusted by the Party and the people. It is necessary to take the main responsibility and business, give full play to the role of overall planning and coordination, policy guidance, promotion and implementation, supervision and inspection, accelerate the improvement of the monitoring and assistance mechanism for preventing poverty return, continue to consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, do a solid job in the effective convergence and seamless docking of various work, and fully promote the implementation of the Rural Revitalization Strategy; to strengthen capacity-building, build a strong cadre team, promote the adjustment and optimization of institutional functions in an orderly manner, guide all counties (cities and districts) to do a good job in the adjustment of Rural Revitalization institutions, and make due contributions to the implementation of the "three high and four new" strategy and the construction of "one pole and six districts".
