On the afternoon of March 20, Chenzhou Military Sub-district organized the people's armed forces department, retired cadres and soldiers, reserve soldiers and workers in the mechanisms and urban areas to carry out tree planting activities in the rain in the Wazao Village, Suxian District.

At the fields, more than 110 officers and soldiers, reserve soldiers and workers, shared out the work and cooperated each other, picked up shovels, hoes and other tools, and regardless of foot slippery and mud splash, planted more than 200 strains of golden willow with a high standard in the "Returning farmland to wetland project area" with nearly 2 hours.

It was understood that the voluntary tree-planting is the actual initiatives that Chenzhou Military Sub-district deep carry out the activities of "learn-from-Lei Feng in Lei Feng Hometown". These activities can deepen the soldiers’ environmental protection concept of "planting trees, protecting the green", can mobilize more people to participate in the construction of "ecological Chenzhou" and protect the surrounding environment to add new green for beautiful Chenzhou.
