A charity clinic was held by Chenzhou Buddhist Association and the 1st People’s Hospital of Chenzhou

Charity clinics were held in Yanquan square of Beihu district and Yuhou street in Suxian district by Chenzhou Chenzhou Buddhist Association and the 1st People’s Hospital of Chenzhou from September 18- 19, 2012, which symbolized the “charity week” of Chenzhou religious activity was officially launched.

In order to further carry forward the fine tradition of the religious service to the community, the interests of the masses, and to promote the orderly religious figures engaged in charity activities, the State Bureau of Religious Affairs made the mind to launch the “religion charity week” activity nationwide at the third week of this September. The charity clinic mentioned above was one of the activities for Chenzhou “religion charity week” which was carried out by Chenzhou Bureau of Religious Affairs. Meanwhile, the religious bureaus in counties will also follow the instruction to promote relative activities.
