On Feb 7th, 2012, "World Heritage Sites—China Danxia" Tourism Promotion was held by Shaoguan travel bureau and Danxia mountain scenic administration committee in Chenzhou city.

Danxia mountain was located in the northeast of Shanguan city, Guandong province, which was honored by the National Geographic with the name "one of the most beautiful places in China". Danxia mountain was most famous for its Danxia landform with more than 990pcs of scenics for the travelers to enjoy. This unique Danxia landform was given another name for the Danxia mountain as "China Red Stone Park".

This tourism promotion improved the communication between Shaoguan and Chenzhou city that can share both cities abundant tourism resources with each other and reach the win-win situation to attract more travellers come to the two cities.
