The 4th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show (short for “CMGS”) was held last May in Chenzhou and successfully attracted 320 thousand people at home and abroad to exhibit and visit, the trading volume of 1.76 billion yuan, increase by 10% compared with the previous session.

The core exhibition hall of the exhibition is located in Chenzhou International Exhibition Center, planning a total exhibition area of 100,000 square meters and setting 2600 international standard booths. It is divided into 7 exhibition areas of international mineral crystal area, national treasure boutique mineral gem exhibition area, fine jewelry jade area and the provincial tourism resources display area, mineral fossil area, domestic mineral crystal and ornamental stone area, natural science area, and comprehensive service area.

Reporters learned from the news conference of 5th CMGS, that through the extensive international investment, the 5th CMGS will attract more than 100 exhibitors from the United States, Canada and other 30 countries. The international dignitaries, envoys in China and international professional associations are invited to attend the exhibition. The consuls in China of Germany, Mexico, Chile and other countries, the French Mayor of St. Mary and nearly 30 foreign dignitaries, the Asian Dinosaur Association and the International Museum Association will attend the exhibition. The American Aviation Geologist, Vice President of Asian Dinosaur Association, Mineral Museum Director of Austria Vienna Museum of Natural History Museum, Director of Indian Mineral Museum and other four domestic academicians will attend the International Forum and deliver professional presentations.

Through the series of lectures on mineral gemstones appreciation, mineral collections, Chenzhou mine crystal and mine knowledge, minerals, precious stones, fossils and photographic knowledge and so on, the exhibition can promote the global resources, technology and cultural exchanges and promote the sustainable development of industry. In this year's exhibition, Hunan Natural Resources Promotion Exhibition will focus on the exhibition of nearly 50 geology and mining tourism resources. Chenzhou International Mineral Gem Cultural Industry Park will comprehensively start the investment, the new Chenzhou Stone Park will open, Chenzhou High-tech Industrial Park World Nonferrous Metals Museum, Shizhuyuan National Mine Park Museum, and China Mineral Gem Museum Expo Center will open at the same time.
