On March 28, the reporter learned from the Preparatory Committee of 5th China (Hunan) International Mineral & Gem Show (short for “CMGS”), that Stone Park was started on March 27, would be completed on April 27, and would be officially opened on May 10.

Stone Park is an important part of the 5th CMGS layout, but also is an important platform to boost the development of mineral gemstone industry. Stone Park is located in Shizhuyuan National Mine Park, to show the stones of Chenzhou and some beautiful landscapes. In the Stone Park, according to their respective themes, 11 counties (cities, districts) will reasonably lay out to integrate into the local cultural elements and build 11 landscape parks. At the same time, the famous stones of China will be placed in the Stone Park, including Shandong Taishan Stone, Anhui Lingbi Stone, Guangdong Fluorite, Henan Colorful Stone and etc.

Deputy Director of Preparatory Committee Secretary Group of the 5th CMGS and Secretary-General of City Ornamental Stone Jade Association, Chen Lixiong told to reporter that Stone Park is a major highlight of the 5th CMGS, in addition to show Chenzhou and wonder stones all over the country, also will also be a major brand of leisure travel in Chenzhou. After the completion of Stone Park, the mineral gem industrial park and mineral gem sales distribution center will be built to form the "Trinity" and create a new carrier for the CMGS.
