Covering an area of about 1000 square meters, the science popularization base is divided into seven functional halls, collecting and displaying nearly 1000 pieces of Linwu native and domestic and foreign jade, rare stones and minerals. At the same time, the museum has set up three-dimensional imaging, knowledge Q & A and other interactive experience areas, using high-tech means such as sound, photoelectric and so on to simulate the whole process of ancient and modern jade mining and processing.

The construction of the popular science base of gems and jades museum is not only a comprehensive display of the rich contents of social history, gems and jades resources, gems and jades processing technology and design, but also an important part of popular science for the public to accept the baptism and accumulation of gems and jades related knowledge and traditional culture. The person in charge of the popular science base said that it would further optimize the expansion, service and transactional activities of the base, and promote the development of the popular science work of gems and jades in Linwu.

Recently, Xiao Yunfei, member of the Party Group of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, led Liu Yuping and his party of the policy, regulation and supervision integrity department to award the science popularization base of Shuntong Jade Culture Industrial Park Museum in Linwu County, a municipal science popularization base in 2020. After that, he visited the Museum of Shuntong Jade Culture Industrial Park and had a discussion with the relevant persons in charge of the County Science and Industry Bureau, the County Jade Promotion Center and Shuntong Jade Culture Development Co., Ltd. on the construction and management of science popularization base.
