Rucheng County sees booming cultural tourism market during National Day Holiday

During the National Day holiday, the tourist attractions in Rucheng County were crowded with people, and colorful cultural tourism activities were held such as listening to Red stories in the special exhibition hall of “Warmth of Half a Quilt”, experiencing farming in the folk square and enjoying bathing in Fuquan Art Springs, which attracted a large number of citizens and tourists. Shazhou Village in Rucheng County once again ushered in the peak of tourism during the National Day holiday.
In the theme exhibition hall, the docents told Red stories such as “Half a Quilt” and “An IOU” to tourists from all over the country.
“These Red stories moved me, and all these pictures and objects are vivid witnesses of the deep relationship between the army and the people. It is worthwhile to bring children here for a visit during the holiday,” said a tourist from Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.
“In order to attract tourists, together with the newly opened Wenshi Yao Township, we held special activities such as autumn garden parties, handmade tie-dyeing and theatrical performances to enrich the visitors’ experience during this long National Day holiday,” said the head of the Shazhou Red Tourism Scenic Area.
Relying on the former site where the story of “Half a Quilt” took place, the scenic spot invited tourism bloggers to release tourism guides through online platforms such as Douyin and Xiaohongshu. Hence, citizens and tourists have come here to reminisce about the historical years and feel the Red culture, resulting in a doubling of the number of tourists.
In addition to the Red tourist attractions, the hot spring tourism in Rucheng County was also popular.
Fuquan Art Springs in Reshui Town launched theme activities of the ancient-style garden party, expanding diversified projects such as Hanfu shows, lantern riddles, and fireworks camping.
Luoquan Hot Spring Scenic Area in Nuanshui Town launched activities such as treasure hunting, water polo battles and pool music parties, bringing tourists wonderful experiences.
In addition, Rucheng Lyuyuan Ecological “Angel Town” launched a variety of night tour projects such as paragliding flight experiences, mountain cross-country biking, and starry sky light and shadow shows.
Cultural tourism experiences such as forest jungle train, high-altitude glass water slide and tea garden sky realm in Jiulongjiang National Forest Park attracted more tourists.
Hot Spring Rafting Resort in Reshui Town, Rucheng County held various activities such as bonfire party and She ethnic dance, allowing tourists not only to fully feel the excitement and beautiful scenery, but also deeply experience the unique local homestay inns and delicious food.
According to statistics, during the National Day holiday this year, Rucheng County received a total of 270,500 tourists, a year-on-year increase of 113.33%, achieved a comprehensive tourism income of 278 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 102.24%, and the occupancy rate of monitored hotels in the county was 94.63%.
Among them, the Shazhou Red Scenic Area received more than 90,000 tourists in total, and the ticket revenue of Hot Spring Tourist Resort and Jiulongjiang National Forest Park ranked among the top six in the city for many consecutive days. The rooms of Guanxi Hot Spring Villa were full for many consecutive days.
