It was learned from some relative departments that Huangcao town of Zixing city and Reshui town of Rucheng county were enrolled into“the notice for issuing the 3rd batch of China’s famous tourism towns and villages with characteristic landscape”which was released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the State Tourism Bureau.

In recent years, Huangcao town tried great efforts on promoting its tourism industry and construction of “Xiaoxiang-style water town”. About 80million yuan was placed on the upgrading and reconstruction of infrastructures as elevation side of Jinniu island streets, travel paths, landscape greening, multistory parking tower, and etc. At the meantime, it paid more attention on improving the tourism culture and held different large-scale events as “Shuilenianhua”variety show, “New silk road” model contest, “Shiwaitaoyuan cup” water cycling, first “fish culture” photography festival, and etc. In the first half year of 2015, 110,000 visitors were received by Huangcao town.

Reshui town of Rucheng county is located in the junction of Hunan, Guangdong and Jiangxi province. National level tourism resort of Tanghe landscape, 4A hot spring tourism resort, 3A south Tianshan landscape, snail tower, fairy bridge, Feishui village, hot spring cultural park, Gaotan She minority village, relics of glacier, and some more sceneries are available there. In recent year, it figured out scientific planning for the construction of hot spring town, perfected the infrastructure condition and optimized the ecological natural condition, all of which greatly improve its image.

Banliang village of Gaoting town, Yongxing county was enrolled into the first batch of China’s famous tourism village with characteristic landscape. More than 360 buildings constructed in Ming and Qing Dynasty were well reserved in the village. The elegant construction engineering and crafts as carved beams and painted rafters, cornice, tile carving, stone carving, wood carving, and etc. were amazing. Due to its connotation on Chinese ancient patriarchal clan system, Confucianism tradition, philosophy awareness, construction skill, ecological theory, and etc., Banliang village was honored as “No. 1 village of south Hunan” with largest scale, best reservation and deepest cultural connotation.
