It was reported that the preparation conference for Hunan (Chenzhou) 2nd Agricultural Products Expo was held in Chenzhou city on August 29, 2016.

As approved by Hunan Government, Hunan Agricultural Commission, and Chenzhou Government, 2016 Hunan (Chenzhou) 2nd Agricultural Products Expo would be held in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center from November 11-14, 2016. It was introduced that this expo will follow the concept of “innovative, practical, green, and safe” and the theme of “characteristic brand, marketing nationwide”. It planned to use 48000 square meters area for the expo, which includes 22 special stands and 800 standard stands for the display, exchange, and investment attraction of famous, characteristic, and branded agricultural products and technological results. Strict selection and registered standards would be applied to the expo to grant the expo with high level and safe condition.

Lei Xiaoda- Deputy Mayor of Chenzhou City attended the conference and presented specified requirements for the preparation work of the expo. Lei stated that better understanding of the trend should be well comprehended for the expo. It is an important measure for implementing the concept of “leading by industry, improving comprehensive development” by establishing the trade and communication platform of agricultural products, as well as an effective method to promote the transformation and upgrading of agricultural industry and structural reform in supply front of the agricultural industry. More attention should be placed on keeping promoting the development. Local features should be highlighted to attract more investments and upgrade the level of internationalization, marketization, professionalization, and branding of the expo. Specified responsibility mechanism should be carried out as well that all departments should coordinate with each other to improve the expo to be more characteristic and effective.
