The awarding ceremony of 2015 China’s Tourism Overall List which was sponsored by China's Urban First Media Tourism Alliance and Yunnan Press Tourism Media was held in Lijiang, Yunan province on April 22, 2016. 2015 China’s Tourism Overall List was released by tourism media and industry delegates from 24 provinces of China. Dongjiang Lake landscape of Chenzhou city was awarded as “most popular tourism landscape”.

It was introduced that 2015 China’s Tourism Overall List is a tourism brand event created by China's Urban First Media Tourism Alliance and some authority tourism organization of China on 2007 China Tourism Brand (Boao) Forum. It is honored as “Oscar” of China’s tourism industry for its most authoritative and influential assessment system of tourism brand. More than 20 mainstream media as “Chutian City News”, “Beijing News”, “Qilu Evening News”, “Guangzhou Daily”, “Qianjiang Evening News”, “Yanzhao City News”, “Dahe Daily”, “Yangzi Evening News”, “Xinan Evening News”, China's Urban First Media Tourism Alliance, and etc. which are from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, and some other places with the most powerful economy and highest social development formed China's Urban First Media Tourism Alliance. Over 20million circulations, 940million readers, and excellent urban media group of the alliance improved it to be the most authoritative platform for showing the development of China tourism industry.

Followed the tenet of fair-and-square, members of the alliance carried out the voting of local landscapes and then selected out the national level excellent enterprises, routes, individuals, and destinations of tourism industry by professional voting, experts evaluation, and ultimate review of media. Dongjiang Lake, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Changlong Tourism Resort, and some other landscapes were enrolled into 2015 final list. Currently, Dongjiang Lake were entitled with several national level honors as national landscape resort, national 5A landscape, national water conservancy landscape, and national wetland park.
