When reporters arrived at Nanshui village, Quanshui town, Rucheng county, more than 20 greenhouses of strawberry were yield with fresh fruits.

Song Longqiang- one of the planters of strawberry told the reporter that it is the harvest season for some high quality species of strawberry as milk, banana, juicy peach, and etc. Currently, the daily yield of his strawberry is about 50kgs, and it can be up to 250-300kgs in peak season. In order to meet the demand of visitors, the price of strawberry is 60yuan/kg.

It was learned that due to the competitive price and good quality, Song’s strawberry base which is mainly with the business of self-picking up is very hot in recent weekends. When walking around the greenhouses, different shapes of strawberries entitled with nice names as banana strawberry, juicy peach strawberry, milk strawberry, and etc. make visitors can’t help tasting them. Just as their names, different species are with different tastes.

Though it keeps raining recently, Song Longqiang who is honored as the king of strawberry does not worry about it on the basis of his skillful management technics. Song said confidently to the reporters that it can provide the consumers with best quality strawberries in the middle of this January as long as the base was well managed.
