The typical Hunan style dwelling-Li’s Compound which is located in Xingtang village, Chengshui town, Zixing city was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty. Now it is over 300-year old. All the visitors are amazed to see the gorgeous wood carvings preserved in Li’s ancestral hall. Though hundreds of years past, the carvings which are with different meanings and paints remain as before. A large number of experts and visitors are attracted here to enjoy the elegant ancient buildings every year.
But some of the ancient dwellings were damaged after so long time. How to well protect those ancient buildings becomes an unavoidable problem faced by people.
