On May 6, the fragrance and purple roses were in full bloom in Sanhe Village, Huatang Town, Beihu District. The national self-driving travelling destination pilot city (district) award ceremony and the launch ceremony of Chen Yang Road national self-driving travelling destination demonstration road in Beihu District was held here. Chenzhou City was awarded the national self-driving travelling destination pilot city (the third) by China Travel Car Association and the Beihu District is the first national self-driving travelling destination pilot area.
In recent years, Chenzhou has given full play to the advantages of traffic area and tourism resources, achieved the full coverage of highway, the main roads, traffic arteries and other tourist traffic signs and travel maps, and taken the lead in the country to put forward the theoretical system of "self-driving travelling demonstration city". The newly created "self-driving travelling public graphics standards in China" was highly affirmed by the industry. Last March, our city also set up a Self-driving Travelling and Camping Caravan Association with more than 300 members at present. The city's self-driving car camping base, self-driving system, tourism products and lines have been improved and optimized and the self-driving tourists visiting Chenzhou have increased sharply. In the first quarter of this year, our city received a total of 12.19 million tourists, of which nearly 70% of self-driving tourists to achieve comprehensive tourism income of 8.29 billion yuan, an increase of 12.9%.
Beihu District has fully enlarged the location and natural ecological advantages, vigorously developed the leisure agriculture and rural tourism, built nearly 200 leisure farms and farmhouses, and successfully created the national leisure agriculture and rural tourism demonstration zone and the most beautiful ecological leisure tourism area in China. Last year, the district successfully undertook the Hunan (Chenzhou) First Beautiful Rural Tourism Culture Festival with good reputation and the self-driving tourists came in a continuous stream.
