Yizhang County receives 589,600 tourists during Spring Festival holiday

During the Spring Festival holiday, Yizhang County saw the booming cultural and tourism market thanks to the good weather. According to data from the cultural and tourism department, the county received a total of 589,600 tourists and achieved a comprehensive tourism income of 577.8081 million yuan, an increase of 39.41% and 38.45% respectively compared to the same period in 2023.
Five accommodation units monitored, including the Mangshan Hot Spring Hotel, received a total of 8,600 tourists and achieved a revenue of 4.4171 million yuan.
During the Spring Festival, the Mangshan Mountain Scenic Area experienced a surge of tourists. During the 8-day holiday, it received a total of 238,900 visitors, with a comprehensive tourism income of 76.448 million yuan, an increase of 42.22% and 41.73% respectively compared to the same period in 2023.
The popularity of Mangshan Mountain Scenic Area drove the development of the surrounding areas. Hotels, homestay inns, and restaurants saw booming business.
Rural tourism was deeply loved by tourists, with various rural tourist spots like Yanziyan teeming with tourists.
