According to the time schedule issued by China Railways Corporation, from December 1, 2014, the pre-sale period for train tickets online and on-phone would be extended from 20dyas to 60days. The 60 days pre-dale period would be kept from December 6, 2014. December’s tickets are available from December 1, 2014.

Currently, the pre-sale period for the train tickets is followed the rule of 5days, 10days and 20days respectively. But as confirmed by Chinese railway department that the pre-sale period for train tickets online and on-phone would be extended from 20days to 60days in 6 days from December 1, 2014.

According to this solution, the pre-sale period for train tickets would be extended from 20days to 30days on December 1, 2014. 6 more pre-sale days would be extended every day from December 2-6, 2014. From December 2, 2014, the pre-sale period would be kept as 60days. All the windows of stations, ticket agents and other methods were kept following the principal of 2-day delay as current policy.

It was estimated to keep the pre-sale period to 60days after Spring Festival Transportation.

If followed the latest pre-sale solution, passengers are capable to buy the tickets of December 30, 2014 on December 1, 2014, and are capable to buy the ticket of January 6, 2015 and January 13, 2015 on December 2 and 3 respectively. According to this solution, passengers are also capable to buy ticket of February 3, 2015 on December 6, 2014 when the pre-sale period of tickets extends to 69days.

On December 7, 2014, the tickets for the first day of 2015 Spring Festival Transportation are available. Passengers can start to buy the tickets of Christmas Day time from December 1, 2014, and start to buy the tickets of 2015 New Year from December 2, 2014.
