In 2020, the National Day and Mid Autumn Festival "two festivals" are superimposed, and the holiday is as long as 8 days, which is the first long holiday after the epidemic prevention and control has entered the normalization, the work and production are resumed and the tourism order is gradually restored. In order to create a good road traffic environment for the masses to travel on festivals, the traffic police detachment of the Municipal Public Security Bureau strengthened the analysis, research and judgment, closely combined with the actual road traffic in the District, took various measures, and actively prepared for the war, so as to ensure the road traffic safety of the "two festivals".

On the morning of September 30, as soon as the video conference on "two festivals" road traffic security mobilization and deployment of the provincial public security and traffic police system was concluded, the city held a meeting immediately, requiring the traffic police departments at all levels in the city to strengthen the organization and leadership, compact the hierarchical responsibility, and pay close attention to the source management, hidden danger treatment, road control, accident fast handling, propaganda and prompt work.

During the festival, the detachment launched the city's first-class service mode, and all the staff were on duty to ensure safety and smooth flow; strengthen the control of key areas, important nodes and key time periods, and do their best to ensure the safety of national and provincial roads, the unblocking of roads in scenic spots, and the management of rural traffic safety. In rural areas, they strengthened the inspection and control of county and township roads, mountain roads and scenic spots roads, and strictly dealt with serious traffic violations such as unlicensed driving, drunk driving, overloading of minibuses and illegal loading of trucks.
