On the afternoon of January 18, Liu Zhiren, Deputy Secretary of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, came to the construction site of Beihu Airport to investigate the project construction and operation preparation. Liu Zhiren demanded that the construction of Beihu Airport should be completed with good quality and quantity, so as to lay a solid foundation for realizing the navigation target in July this year.

Liu Zhiren successively came to the construction sites of Beihu airport terminal, airport runway, Chenyang Road, etc. to learn more about the construction progress and operation preparation of Beihu Airport. The concrete pouring construction of Beihu airport runway was successfully completed on January 4. The central substation, tower project and civil engineering of the terminal area were basically completed. The navigation lighting project, weak current and air traffic control project and oil supply project are planned to be completed by the end of January. The internal decoration and equipment installation of the terminal area are expected to be completed by the end of April. Other operation preparations are also being carried out in an orderly manner. Beihu Airport will meet the requirements of flight in early 2021 and achieve the navigation target in July.

Liu Zhiren demanded that the smooth navigation of Beihu Airport is related to the realization of Chenzhou's economic and social development goals in the 14th Five-Year Plan period. We should pay more attention to the final construction task of Beihu Airport, so as to lay a solid foundation for the smooth realization of flight and navigation; to organize the construction scientifically, ensure the safety, quality and progress in accordance with the established work objectives, inverted schedule and wall chart operations; make full efforts to build a smart airport and ecological airport, and create a high-quality project; coordinate the flight calibration, flight test, navigation and operation, and speed up the submission of relevant data and the docking of information, so as to ensure the smooth implementation of the airport; to strengthen the induction training of airport professional and technical personnel and service personnel, and strive to build a first-class airport; to do a good job in the prevention and control of epidemic situation in the construction site, try to persuade the majority of construction personnel to spend the Spring Festival on the construction site, and try to reduce the flow of personnel; to care about migrant workers, and ensure that their wages are sent in full; to take Beihu airport as the basis, and carry out scientific research plan the development of airport industry in Chenzhou during the "14th Five-Year Plan" and cultivate new economic growth pole.
