In order to facilitate citizens’ travel during the upcoming Qingming Festival holiday, Chenzhou Railway Station will add 17 temporary trains, including 3 that start from it. There will also be temporary trains with the Chenzhou West High-speed Railway Station as the initial or terminal station.
The transportation period for the Qingming Festival holiday is from April 3 to 7. People will travel for main purposes including short-distance worship, family visits, and outings. The passenger flow will be dispersed in the early stage, mainly radiating from central cities such as Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Changsha to surrounding towns. The later stage will usher in the peak of return passengers flow.
Chenzhou Railway Station is expected to handle an average of 10,000 passengers per day, with an estimated 19,000 passengers on April 6.
During the Qingming Festival, Chenzhou Railway Station will add 17 temporary trains, including 3 trains that start from the station: K6591 from Chenzhou to Guangzhou, departing at 11:21 and running on April 4th and 6th; the K6603 train from Chenzhou to Dongguan East departs at 23:34 and runs on April 3rd and 6th; the K9162 train from Chenzhou to Changsha departs at 15:54 and runs from April 3-7.
There will be many people traveling during the upcoming holiday. Tourists are suggested to make travel plans, book round-trip tickets in advance, and arrange their itinerary reasonably.
The G9689 train will depart from Shenzhen North Station at 0:15 on April 4 and arrive at Chenzhou West Station at 2:09.
The G9689 train will be launched at Chenzhou West Station at 23:33 on April 6.
The G9687 train will depart at Chenzhou West Station at 23:46 on April 6.
The G9607 train will depart at Chenzhou West Station at 2:30 on April 7.
The specific train numbers and time will be subject to the daily schedule.
