It was reported that the finals for first Chenzhou public singing contest was held on the entrance of Liuxianling park on Oct. 12, 2013. After five rounds intense competition, Luo Shuli who was good at bel canto won the champion title.

This contest was hosted by FM88.3 Chenzhou voice of Mango TV. More than 2000 people were attracted to attend this competition since August 10, 2013. About 240 of them past the qualifying contest and entered the public singing contest’s stage to compete for the final title. Because it was public singing contest, no matter old or young people, professional or amateur singers, civil servants, managers from enterprises, teachers, workers, etc. were available to attend this show. It was introduced that in order to promote the safe driving propaganda, a special version for taxi drivers was held for this contest. 30 ones of the drivers were qualified to attend the finals
