It was reported that Chenzhou Music Creation Base was inaugurated in Gaotang village, Zixing city, Chenzhou city on May 8, 2014, which marked that a new communication platform for music creation was available in Chenzhou city. A music creation pen club was held in the base on that day, which attracted 21 elites of Chenzhou city’s music creation.

Gaotang village is adjacent to Mount Feitian scenic area where is full of beautiful scenery and suitable for creation. The establishment of this base was significant to the prosperity of Chenzhou city’s literary and artistic creation. This pen club was one of the parts of the mass cultural activities named “happy Xiaoxiang, my hometown- Chenzhou city”. Focusing on the theme of “Chinese Dream”, 21 songwriters and composers from districts and counties of Chenzhou city created 52 excellent works. Some of the works would be selected from the 52 ones and published to public in next step.
