It was reported that the award ceremony for photography of Dongjiang lake’s scenery, premier of all the award-winning works, and inauguration ceremony of “China Photograph Exhibition Center- Zixing Center” were held in Zixing city on September 13, 2014. Luo Gengqian- Vice Chairman of China Photographers Association authorized the board written “China Photograph Exhibition Center- Zixing Center” to Zixing city. It was the first time for China Photograph Exhibition Center to work together with county level exhibition center. Fu Xin- Director of China photography periodical office attended the inauguration ceremony.

All the works for this exhibition were selected from the activity of photography of Dongjiang lake’s scenery launched in August, 2012 by Zixing government and photographers associations of China, Hunan province and Chenzhou city. Large numbers of photographers were attracted to gather in Dongjiang lake and take their favorite photos there. 6030 works were submitted to the organization committee. 2 gold awards, 4 silver awards, 6 bronze awards, 50 excellent works and 100 selected works were chosen from all the works on April 15, 2014 in Beijing city. Now, all of the works were exhibited in Zixing center together, which was significant to establish Chenzhou city’s tourism brand of “city in the forest, leisure city”.

It was introduced that many exhibitions have been undertaken by Zixing Dongjiang Lake Photograph Art Gallery in recent two years since its opening ceremony, such as the 24th national photograph exhibition, the 9th China photograph award, retrospective exhibition for 1st- 22nd national photograph exhibition, retrospective exhibition for the 8th China photograph award-winning works, the 3rd national farmers’ photograph exhibition, and etc. Over 120,000 audiences were received by the exhibition center.
