It was reported that the first folk cultural park of Chenzhou city was established in Rucheng county on June 21, 2016.

In recent years, Rucheng Government paid great attention on the improvement of folk traditional culture. It placed about 100million yuan funds on the construction of a folk style park covered with 33mu lands and 20000㎡ construction areas and a Yao-She folk style hall covered with 1800㎡ in the downtown of Yao minority town, Sanjiangkou. Now, it becomes an important platform with the functions of protection, heritage, propaganda, and display of folk culture, as well as one of the key tourism sceneries of the county.

The establishment of “Chenzhou Folk Culture Park” would help to improve people’s understanding of the protection, heritage, and promotion of folk culture; discover more characteristic folk cultures of Rucheng county; and provide a communication platform for the workers and fans. It is significant to upgrade folk culture and tourism level of Rucheng county.
