No.1: Anren Ganfenshe

Brief introduction: Anren Ganfenshe is the exclusive tradition of the Spring Equinox well reserved in China, as well as an ancient Han Nation’s folk custom and folk religion and culture activity, and national intangible cultural heritage. No.2 Banliang Ancient Village

Brief Introduction: Banliang ancient village is located in Gaoting town, Yongxing county. It was firstly built in late Song Dynasty and early Yuan Dynasty. The most prosperous period of it is Ming and Qing Dynasty. Now it is over 600 years old. As a well reserved representative of south Hunan folk dweller, it was enrolled into the list of “100 most beautiful ancient villages of China”, “Chinese historical and cultural celebrated villages”, the first batch of China’s characteristic landscape tourism celebrated village, and national 4A landscape.

No.3 Baoshan National Mine Park

Brief introduction: Baoshan National Mine Park highly shows over one thousand year mining history of Chenzhou city. The last coin of Tang Dynasty- “Xiantong Xuanbao” （engraved with Chinese traditional characters of ““咸通玄宝””）which is considered the most treasurable coin of Tang Dynasty was made in Guiyang county. Guiyang county’s mine industry in Dynasty was studied as a sample of Qing Dynasty’s mine industry. The core area of the landscape with the core sceneries of ancient mining relics and modern mining relics is about 1.48k㎡ big. It follows the theme of mining and metallurgy. You can also enjoy the open single mining, modern shaft, and the biggest coin sculpture of the world in the park.

No.4 Chinese character郴 (pronounces Chen )

Brief introduction: 郴 (Chen) is the unique Chinese character used for Chenzhou only. One Chinese character indicates one city. From Qin Dynasty, it is over 2000 years old. 郴 (Chen) means “city in the forest”, which implies the meaning of elegant ecological condition of the city as well.

No. 5 First Military Discipline

Brief introduction: Chairman Mao Zedong issued “three disciplines, six notices” in Shatian, Guidong on April 3, 1928. As one of the important parts of Mao Zedong Thought, it is a milestone of Chinese Liberation Army’s history of political discipline construction, an important content of political work of the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army, and the soul of the army for its improvement. It is honored as “first military discipline” of Chinese Liberation Army.

No.6: Dongjiang Lake

Brief introduction: Dongjiang Lake Landscape is the exclusive landscape of Hunan province entitled with following size honors: national ecological demonstration national 5A landscape, national resort, national forest park, national wetland park, and national water conservancy landscape. The key sceneries are Dongjiang Lake which is famous as “Eastern Geneva”, foggy small Dongjiang River, Dongjiang drifting, Doulv karst, Longjing Canyon, and etc. It is also a famous photography base of China.

No.7: Jiahe Wedding Accompanying Song:

Brief introduction: Jiahe wedding accompanying song is an important part of Jiahe folk music. More than 3000 songs are handed down by local people. “Half Liter Green Bean” was used as the theme music of some famous movies of China. Some dramas shot by CCTV were originated from the stories of the topic. Central Conservatory of Music and some other tertiary institutes applied it as the teaching material of their folk music. In 2006, it was enrolled into first batch of Hunan provincial intangible cultural heritage directory.

No.8: CMGS (China Hunan (Chenzhou) International Mineral Gem Show)

Brief introduction: CMGS is short for China Hunan (Chenzhou) International Mineral Gem Show which is an exclusive mineral gem trading platform of Hunan Province approved by the State Council, sponsored by the State Land and Resource Ministry and Hunan Government, as well as the largest professional mineral gem show of Asian under current situation. It was decided by Hunan Government in November, 2015 that the show would be fixed in Chenzhou city permanently from 2016. Till now, the 3rd and 4th shows have been handled out successfully by Chenzhou city. No.9 Linwu Duck

Brief introduction: As one of the eight famous ducks of China, Linwu duck is with long feeding history and it is also one of the national geographic protection products of Chenzhou city. Due to its good taste and rich nutrition, it is favored by large number of consumers.

No. 10 Mount Mang

Brief introduction: Mount Mang is with the best reserved subtropical original secondary forests and evergreen broad-leaved forest of the world, as well as most representative one. There are over 150 peaks over 1000meters above sea level available there. The highest one which is called Mengkengshi is 1902meters and honored as “the first peak of south China”. More than 1700 species of botany and 300 species of vertebrate are also available there, which favored it with the honor of “national museum of flora and fauna” and “biological gene base”. It is a national natural reserve and 4A national tourism resort approved by the State Council. Mount Mang Trimeresurusmu-crosqumatus which is famous as “panda of the snake” is enrolled into “endangered” species list of the red directory by the World Conservation Union. The azalea of Mount Mang is also famous nationwide and worldwide for its rich species, and long blossoming period.
