It was learned from Hunan Arts and Crafts Association that one wood sculpture named “the rise successively" (Jie Jie Gao Sheng) and one jade sculpture named “blooming and prosperity” (Hua Kai Fu Gui) were awarded with silver rewards in “7th Hunan Arts and Crafts Contest”.

It was introduced that the contest- “Hunan Provincial Traditional Arts and Crafts Show & 7th Hunan Arts and Crafts Contest” which is handled out every two years is sponsored by Hunan Arts and Crafts Association. It is purposely to carry forward the spirit of craftsmen, honor some professional talents who contribute greatly on the improvement of traditional craft industry. More than 600 works selected from 200 enterprises and 400 craftsmen of 14 cities of Hunan province were displayed on the show, all of which are representatives of 100 series of 9 categories of arts and crafts.
