Anti Japanese War Historical Materials Displayed in Chenzhou

The June 9 is the International Archives Day. The "archives historical pictures exhibition to commemorate the 80th anniversary for the outbreak of War of Resistance against Japan" was held in North Lake at that day to display the valuable historical materials selected from the archives of counties and cities.

 

The exhibition is divided into 7 parties of the enemy at gates, the fall of Chenzhou, the Japanese atrocities, the stubborn resistance, the reoccupy of Chenzhou, the contribution in the war, and the outstanding figures from Chenzhou, a total of 28 pages. These archives historical materials recorded the great contributions and sacrifices of Chenzhou people and objectively reflected the historical status and role of Chenzhou people of in the war of resistance.

 

After visiting the exhibition, the citizen Xu Yanfang said: "people cannot forget the history and we need to know how happy life comes from." The citizen Huang Jianshe said the exhibition is very instructive for young people and can inspire young people's patriotic feelings.

 

According to the introduction of Xue Zhangdong who is the Deputy Director of Municipal Archives Bureau, the exhibition has been planning for nearly two years and given full play to the functions of the patriotic education base of the Municipal Archives to carry forward the spirit of war through the historical exhibition.

 

The exhibition will be on tour in the No.12 Primary School, No.67 Primary School No.19 Middle School and other primary and secondary schools and will last until the end of June.
