Recently, the reporter learned from the Municipal Agriculture Commission that, in accordance with the unified arrangements and deployment of the Provincial Agriculture Commission, total of 58 counties in whole province were the implementation counties and cities of 2017 province's specialized concentrated raising early rice seedlings project this year, of which 3 counties of Anren, Yongxing and Yizhang undertook the tasks of specialized concentrated raising 110,000 mu of early rice seedlings.

The relevant responsible person of the Municipal Agricultural Commission introduced that adding the area of concentrated raising rise seedlings carried out by other counties and cities, our city’s total planning area of concentrated raising rice seedlings will be 380,800 mu this year and 309,600 mu have been implemented, of which the planning area of specialized concentrated raising rice seedlings will be 125,000 mu and 118,000 mu have been implemented; county financial department plans to invest 9.66 million yuan; our city plans to raise rice seedlings of 408 main parts and 275 main parts have implemented; plans to build 4 intelligent rooms and all are under construction to be expected to provide seedlings for 22,000 mu.

The Municipal Agricultural Commission has sent 12 supervisory groups into 11 counties and cities in order to urge farmers to implement seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other spring plowing materials, contact fruit seedlings, focus on the training and guidance for improving the production technology of characteristic and advantageous industries, standardization production of pollution-free vegetable, orchard management, prevention and control of major pests and diseases and other aspects of technology by taking training courses and individual guidance. At the same time, our city also has increased the agricultural comprehensive law enforcement, carried out the dragnet clean-up and rectification for the area of agricultural materials sales networks, and focused on the regulation of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and other important agricultural materials, in order to eliminate shoddy, fake and false seeds into the market, eliminate counterfeit agricultural materials into the market and fields, and ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products and the health of urban and rural residents.
