The lotus in Liuhua Bay Scenic Area of Zixing

On June 18, the author learned from the Zixing Tourism Bureau, the 2017 Chenzhou (summer) beautiful rural tourism culture festival will be held on July 7 in Zixing. By then, the series of activities will let visitors fully understand Zixing from the beauty, food, humanities and other aspects.

The main venue of 2017 Chenzhou (summer) beautiful rural tourism and cultural festival will be set in Liuhua Bay Scenic Area of Zixing City. The Liuhua Bay is the most well preserved southern ancient residential complex in Zixing. There are a total of more than 400 ancient houses, built in the early Ming Dynasty and most buildings are shaded with bamboo shade, and like a paradise in the fairyland.

It was understood that the tourism festival activities include the opening ceremony, the folk customs exhibition of "Lotus is the hometown", the opening ceremony of Dongjiang Immigration Museum, and the Voice of Zixing final. The opening ceremony with the theme of "millennium Liuhua" will use the 4 sections of the real performances of Liuhua ancient times, country snapshots, lotus area, and the perfect Zixing. And enjoying the Dongjiang fish, jicama noodles, white wine and other Zixing characteristics of traditional snacks, experiencing stilts, rolling iron ring and other traditional folk activities, as well as the Han drama, Shigong dance and other traditional cultural performances will also bring different experience to visitors. By then, the singers Zhuo Yiting, Mao Ning, famous hosts Li Bing and Wang Yan, local comedian Chen Yingjun and other stars will present the performances.
