On August 27, the party committees leading cadres of Chenzhou Municipal People's Congress participated in the 229th week of "Singing in Mount Suxian" activities and sang the classic red songs with the masses to carry forward the spirit of patriotism. Chenzhou People's Congress Standing Committee Party Secretary and Deputy Director Zhang Aiguo participated in the activities.

On Sunday morning, the air was clean and the scenery was pleasant in Mount Suxian. The loud and clear songs from the Mount Suxian attracted the masses to enjoy. This was not a big stage, although there were no flashing lights and gorgeous costumes, but did not affect the enthusiasm of the performers on the stage. The performances were performed in a popular way, not only with red songs familiar to the masses, but also with the characteristics folk songs overflowing with love for home, expressing the people's yearning for a better life. The players on the stage were singing and the audience was enthusiastic, some of the audience humming softly and beating time with the rhythm. In the activities, the solo, chorus and more than 20 colorful programs were performed one by one, fully demonstrating the positive and versatile spirit of the broad masses of our city.

It was understood that the "Singing in Mount Suxian" activities organized by the Chenzhou Municipal People's Congress, Suxian Government and Chenzhou Urban Management Bureau, have been 6 years since the opening in May 2011, a total of 229 concerts, receiving enthusiastic response from the public. In the 6 years, the activities have trained and transported more than 160 masses of literary and art backbones for the streets and communities, 218,400 citizens and tourists participating in the singing activities. From 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. every Sunday morning, the popular songs are sung here. The "Singing in Mount Suxian" activities have become a mass stage for citizens to show themselves.
