"Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum" to Broadcast on CCTV14

The "Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum" was broadcast in the sixth episode of the large science reality show "Talking Science in this Way" at 9:00 on the evening of 10 September on CCTV14.

The 50-minute feature film of the popular science program Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum was broadcasted by Huo Xiaolei, the famous anchorman of CCTV, and the students participated in the program were selected from Zixing No.1 Primary School. With the background of Dongjiang Lake and Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum, the film aims to publicize the precious stones, minerals, gems and scientific knowledge contained in them, and show the charm of nature and carry forward the knowledge of geological science with the scientific spirit of loving the rare resources of the earth and strengthening the green environmental protection and innovation of the whole people, especially the Youth in the process of watching stone, telling stories and doing activities.

It was reported that Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum was awarded the "Land and Resources Science Popularization Base" by the Ministry of Land and Resources in 2013. In recent years, relying on its unique advantages, Dongjiang Lake Stone Museum has innovatively explored a new mode of "stone + popular science + tourism". At present, the museum has more than 30,000 kinds of rocks, fossils of paleontology, mineral crystals, jewelry and jade, integrating science popularization, knowledge, culture and ornamental nature, which is an excellent place to carry out science popularization education and train professional talents of mineral gems.
