The inauguration ceremony of teaching buildings of Xujiadong central school & signing ceremony of Hong Kong Candlelight Education Foundation’s donation towards Xujiadong central school was held on November 14, 2012.

It was learned that the new comprehensive teaching building plan of Xujiadong central school gained 2 million yuan investment, among which 0.45 million was donated by Hong Kong Candlelight Education Foundation. Once the new building is finished, all the 359 students of the school would benefit from a better studying condition and poverty area education projects would be promoted better.

Hong Kong Candlelight Education Foundation was launched by some retired middle school principals, merchants, professionals and celebrities with the principal of “burning oneself to warm others, spreading love to light up the world”. This foundation has committed itself on the promotion of education industry in Hong Kong and China mainland for a long term. With the efforts of Suxian district government, the foundation helped to donated large capitals to the construction of 7 schools in this district.
