It was the 23rd National Disabled Day on May 19, 2013. In order to advocate the good social custom on helping disabled, a donation activity was held on Zixing special education school. 180,000 yuan was donated on site to help the disabled students in the school. This activity was held by Chenzhou Education Bureau, Chenzhou Education Foundation, and Chenzhou Government Former Cadres Office. Some education foundations representatives from counties of Chenzhou city attended the activity.

Zixing special school was named as school for def-mutes, which was founded in 1990 and changed to current name in October, 2008. Now 158 disabled students are studying there. With the help of society, the school was facilitated with better hard wares and optimized school condition. A new spa physiotherapy training base and flowers &seedlings base were founded in the school. Furthermore, 6 students were enrolled in the key undergraduate colleges by taking the special school entrance examination in 2013, which set a new record of the school.

The students showed their talents by performing wonderful performances in the activity.
