A theme activity called “summer care” would be carried out from early of July and end of September

It was learned from Chenzhou Federation of Trade Unions that a theme activity called “summer care” would be carried out from early of July and end of September. It was purposely to deliver the lovely concern of the Party, government and trade unions for the workers who work in the front line of high-temperature operation condition.

It was introduced that this activity covered all the staffs of mining enterprises, service industries, key construction projects who work in the front line of high-temperature operation condition. Besides to express their concerns for the hardworking staffs, protection supervision, propaganda of heatstroke prevention knowledge and other special activities would be carried on this period.

All levels of trade unions of Chenzhou city would investigate and supervise the protection work handled out by some high-risk enterprises with high temperature operation, height operation, open-air construction, dangerous chemical products storage and transportation, etc. to make sure the safety operation during this high-heat period. Any improper behaviors found in the enterprises would be urged to improve the condition or submitted to the supervision department for punishment.
