It was reported that the first review meeting on selection of 2013 “top ten volunteers” in Chenzhou urban area was held recently. This selection activity was organized by Youth League Committee of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee. 15 judges from Chenzhou Civilization Office, leading group office for upgrading of Chenzhou construction and management, some units of Chenzhou urban areas, representatives of the mass attended the meeting,

It was purposely to further promote the volunteer service spirit, upgrade citizens’ quality and city civilization level and play the demonstration effect of models by holding this “top ten volunteers” activity by Youth League Committee of Chenzhou Municipal Party Committee. The leading group office for upgrading of Chenzhou construction and management issued the “solution on selection of 2013‘top ten volunteer’” on May 21, 2013, which indicated the official launching of this selection activity. 28 candidates were confirmed after checking the qualifications of all registered people.

At the meeting, detailed reports on the candidates were delivered by the leading group office for this selection activity, and 20 comrades from the earlier candidates list were selected out by secret ballot. All the 20 candidates’ stories would be posted on Chenzhou youth website and supervised by public accordingly in next step. It was purposely to contribute more on promotion of Chenzhou city’s civilization construction work by posting the candidates stories.
