100,000 people benefited from this policy

It was learned from Pension Insurance Department of Chenzhou Bureau of Human Resources and Social Administration that 10% increase for pension of enterprise retiree was carried out in Chenzhou city from the beginning of 2014. That was the 10th time for Chenzhou city to adjust the pension. 102,000 people were benefited from this favorable policy. 

This time, the bureau followed with the principal of general adjustment and proper incline to adjust the pension. That general adjustment principal could well indicate the function of incentive mechanism of more pay more gain and indicate the social justice, so there were some differences among different retirees. At the meantime, more adjustments were granted to the aged and the stevedore damage retirees.

The standard for general adjustment: all the retirees settled the retirement issues before December 31, 2013 were with 110yuan more pension every month; 2yuan more was added for the basic pension every month for every retire year ( the one who paid the insurance less than one year was counted as one year). The stevedore damage retirees who could not get 165yuan pension on the basis of above adjustment would adjust to 165yuan/month.

On the basis of general adjustment, the retirees older than 70 years old (including 70 years old ones) but younger than 80 years old till the end of December 31, 2013 would add 50yuan more/month. The retirees older than 80 years old (including 80 years old ones) but younger than 90 years old till the end of December 31, 2013 would add 70yuan more/month. The stevedore damage retirees would grant 50yuan more/month.
