It was reported that a public special fund activity named “starfish” was carried out by Changsha Customs, Chenzhou Office recently. A donation ceremony was held in Longxingshi village’s Central School. 8,400yuan funds and some school supplies were donated by the office on this ceremony.

Longxingshi town locates in mountainous area of east Yongxing county where is with poor traffic condition. Affected by some natural conditions, villagers are suffered from poor economic situation and some students could not afford their study course. Changsha Customs, Chenzhou Office carried out this “starfish” activity during this Youth Day (May Fourth). 600yuan subsidies were facilitated to 14 poverty stricken students of the Central School, which would be helpful for them to finish their studies there.
